I recommend Surya Restaurant to anyone who works near the Beltline, as the lunch buffet was delicious. There are several vegetarian options available, ranging from a coconut curry to the classic vegetable korma. The food was fresh and each table also gets a free basket of naan bread. The service was really good, and the restaurant is great for a lunch meeting or a friendly get together. It is very casual and laid back. The only drawback was the dessert. The rice pudding left much to be desired along with the melted mango pudding, which resembled a soup.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Calgary. The staff always provide very good service. Try the Prawn Vindaloo (and ask for hot), amazing!!! Best in the city!!!
