Helpful and knowledgeable while we were buying, but the tone changed during a return. We weren’t aware of a 20% restocking fee at the time of purchase of a $700 pump that we didn’t end up needing for a cistern repair. The manager was irritable and sarcastic telling me that I was wasting his time and that they “weren’t Home Depot” and that “he has to pay to keep the lights on and put food on the table”. Appreciated the help up front but was disappointed with how I was treated in the end.
I had purchased a sump pump and have not had any issues. The staff was very knowledgeable and ensured that I had the right pump for our needs. The quality of the pump is much superior to what you see at other stores. I will continue to do business with Stowell for along time.
