Kyle is a very pleasant manager who gives me great service. He doesn't take advantage of his customers and is very fair with his rates.
I took my k5 blazer in for transmission problems and doug took great care of me. He explained the problems with what I wanted , then helped me decide the better action. Since then I've had the rearend beefed up and now a b&m shifter installed. These guys are great! They covered my repairs, no problem , and even checked out other problems not tranny, rearend, or shifter related. its hard to find good people these days, but I would recommend Maple Ridge Transmission to everyone! Good work Guys!
Restores not only my faith in mechanics but also in humanity. The manager, Doug, gave me an estimate for what was wrong. After repairing estimated problems he informed me of the worst news possible. REPLACE TRANSMISSION. He felt for my predicament and offered me ALL the work he did so far FOR FREE! He requested that I only pay for parts (which were needed) and he and his shop would cover ALL labor and shop costs. That alone is worthy of top of the line service. But bei(continued in next review)
Would never recommend this business for service work. Because the Business was sold in May, according to the new owner, and appears to be for sale again, warranty work is an issue. Providing towing because of faulty workmanship is not covered. When the truck has been back four times for the same problem and still is not fixed. That's a lot of down time for an ongoing problem. One a responsible business owner would rectify, and this one isn't!!

Business is not for sale. We did warranty the transmission. Customer had truck towed to a shop because of a "no-start" issue. Shop replaced fuse box, then called me to tell me the neutral safety switch burned out as well and that the customer got stuck while hunting and fried the transmission and burnt out the fuse box and neutral switch by jump starting vehicle incorrectly. I offered to look at the transmission issue, but when the customer found out I knew he got stuck he refused to bring it here for me to look and instead is making a completely false accusation. Cant say enough about the great service I received from Maple Ridge Transmission. The manager, Doug dare went out of his way several times to ensure I received the best service possible. He quoted me exactly what i would pay, no hidden surprises, kept his commitment when I would be able to have my car back, in fact got it back sooner then expected. So nice to have someone you trust and rely on for resolving your transmission problems. Ian
