I went in November, so near the end of the season and a quite season for gan. The food service was great, but they were slow to fill our glasses and other such small things.
Food is well worth the price.
Came here on the recommendation of our friends and were delighted. Pilsner Urquell on tap and they make strawberry dacquiris which my wife loved. We had heard so much about the Borscht we had to try it and were not disappointed. Since it doesn't have meat it's nice and light with delicious flavour. The gypsy schnitzel had a lovely homemade ginger lemon chutney on it and my goulash came with dumplings. The service was attentive and friendly. We'll be back as we didn't have room for the apple strudel on this visit.
Not Sure what the person below is talking about, I frequent this restaurant quite often and have never been anything but 100% satisfied. I have traveled to the Czech republic many times the Maple Leafs has some of the most authentic european food I have tasted.

Very, very disappointed with the food at the Maple Leaf. I love Czech, Germany, etc food and the meal here was below par. The $16.95 saurbrauten included 3 extremely thin slices eye of round with 3 dumplings immersed with a terrible mustard sauce and that was it. There were no vegetables with the meal. The other meal was a pork snitzel that smelt very porky which was oversalted so I was not sure of the freshness of the meat and this was $17.95. There are many other restaurants in the area within the same price range. So if they want people to come back or to be recommended they better step up to the quality and balance of the meal. Unfortunately, I will not be back to see if things improved that is how bad it was.

I have eaten at the maple leaf lots of times and I have never had a bad meal. The quesadillas were excellent and also the jasmine herb tea too. Definately will continue to go back.
The food was well prepared well presented and very was over the top in taste. The ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant and the proprietors were helpful.
