My first memories of baking are making cookies on a Saturday night so that my Dad would have freshly baked cookies when he got home from working an extra shift on the weekend. I definitely got my bve of baking from my mom who was a great baker and loved trying new recipes. Of course, we were the perfect guinea pigs as my family definitely has a sweet tooth. I started decorating cakes when I was just a teenager and my first job was at an ice cream shop and they taught us how to decorate the ice cream cakes and I bved it. I lived in Newmarket many many years ago and was introduced to these wonderful treats from Simply sweet. The shortbread cookies are absolutely delightful. I would drive over an hour to get some once I moved.
I am now a herbivore and can no longer enjoy these amazing baked goods but I definitely think about them often.
If you ever wanted to do a vegan version I would be a lifetime customer ?
I have never experienced such rude customer service in my life when I went into this little bakery today. Not only does the owner not honor her business hours and changes them at her whim, she is very rude to her customers. I am amazed that she is still in business.
This business has wonderful, tasty cookies. I have purchased them for home and for gifts i.e. teachers etc. They are truly delicious! The owner is friendly and polite.
