We enjoy the evening, everything was perfect good food nice environment and very nice service.
It is the worst restaurant that I have ever been there The food is sooooo salty and yauky Quality is the worst Even service My money has been waisted No body care at the desk
Actually I was shocked with the very bad service that I got today , because I arrive late and joined my group who was already there ,so once I arrived they gave me the cheque to pay then after 15 minutes they asked us to leave because they have other reservations , when I asked them to get a smaller table for me & my kids for another half an hour for my kids to finish their food ,they told me sorry as it is my mistake that I arrived late
Great Mediterranean buffet. Delicious food. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere,
well? I expected better than that
we were a group of 11 adults and three kids but they charged us for 12 adults 27.95 each and three kids 20.95 each it happened second time. not good singer at all. contacted the restaurant by email but lisa was rude.
Last Saturday night we were very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful time our family had at the Jerusalem restaurant. Service: EXCEPTIONAL. In fact, likely the best service we've ever experienced, anywhere. I only regret I didn't get our server's name so I could mention her here. Food: Fresh and Delicious. What more do you want? Atmosphere: The buffet area is VERY cramped, but the seating area was just fine. We were comfortable. Entertainment: The belly dancer was lovely and outgoing, we had so much fun!! The whole crowd got into it, with some people getting up and shakin' it with her. Our 14 year old son, who couldn't wipe that smile off his face all night, especially seemed to enjoy the experience. ;) All in all, we were extremely happy with our night out. The wine was very good, the prices reasonable, the service fantastic, the food plentiful and delicious. We will be back, probably soon!
My friends and I have gathered at Jerusalem restaurant (old and current north York locations) on a monthly basis for 15yrs. Unfortunately, we have now decided to 'give up the ghost' and commute for better food/ambience at various restaurants downtown. The food is definitely authentic, but it is always stale. We truly believe that we Arabs only go there, because there are no other large Middle Eastern restaurants in the area to compete, and the owners definitely seem to count on that fact. The ambience has deteriorated over the years and is now at rock bottom. It has become an inside joke in our group that, we men leave our expensive watches in the car and our female friends wear their evil eye charm bracelets to ward off the eyes from the female staff members. They all seem to be on an embarrassing, gold-digging hunt for rich husbands there and my gorgeous female cousins don't want to get up from the table and use the washroom because all the girls working there start whispering. It is an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere. Our theory is that this behavior is either, actively encouraged, or the very least, definitely tolerated, by the owners (a father and son - we know this, because they make sure everybody knows this! Lol) the father is rude to the point of needing etiquette lessons and the son seems to be a flashy playboy who has hit on every one of my cousins - another reason they do not like walking to the washroom. It is an extremely sleazy atmosphere. We can only imagine what it is like at dinnertime when the alcohol starts flowing. We have only ever been there for weekend lunches!
Dreadful. The ersatz middle eastern appearance put me off, but I was still optimistic...you never know where you will find good food. Regrettably, good food was nowhere to be found. Neither were the waitstaff. The food took forever, was barely lukewarm on arrival, and was bland or tasted downright bad. Coupled with a belly dancer that had no business belly dancing, it was a really lousy dining experience. I'd never to back.
This restaurant offered a unique menu with a good variety of dishes. We had the buffet dinner which was a bit pricey but tasty.
FUN EXPERIENCE WITH GREAT FOOD! I went with a party of over 20 and we had a great time! The buffet food was delicious and the service was friendly. The location is open and very easy to find. The decor is very nice. Will return with another big party!
MY FAMILY HAS BEEN A USUAL CUSTOMER @ JERUSALEM RESTAURANT FOR A YEARS, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD AND SERVICES HAS DRAMATICALLY GONE DOWN, I THINK YESTERDAY WAS MY LAST VISIT TO THAT PLACE AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO LET MY COMMUNITY KNOW THAT HAVING A MIDDLE EASTERN FOOD POT LUCK IS FOR SURE THE WAY TO GO FROM NOW ON **PLEASE I URGE EVERYONE WHO READS THIS REVIEW TO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TUMMY FROM SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE.
Tables are too close to each other that when some one from the other table tris to get up, person sitting back to back always needs to get up too to allow the other person to be able to get out. Servers and greeter behave as though they do not care. They walk as though they have no interest in working. When we ordered drinks, our server did not say anything just walked away, didn't even nod to indicate he heard or understood us. These example are a few of many. Food tasted nothing special. I expected at least a certain class here which is NOT AT ALL mainted. I do have ANY reason to return to this place.
Fantastic!!!!!!! I had my birthday dinner there and the food was great. There was even a belly dancer. We had a wonderful time.
i am a chef and i hat buffets but i love this one every thing they have on is good . they have the best fallafel and the best okra and the best stuffed lamb .very tasty. we come here every from kitchener (1 hour drive ) just for this restaurant . the only thing i do not like is the washrooms they need to renovate them they look old.
This location is disappointing when compared to the old spot further north. There is lots of seating and a band stage, but the buffet area itself is crowded. More importantly, the food is so-so and lacks some of the basics, like Shawarma and Shish Tavook. If you are new to Arabic food then go ahead, otherwise this is just quantity over quality and selection.
THis place is by far one of the best buffet resturants I have ever went to . The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was really good. The belly dancer was great ... For sure I will go back again
Just got home from a great dinner. My friends and I had a a wonderful meal and were treated to a bellydancing show. Will go back again!!!!
What a great lunch. We had our daughters baptism at Jerusalem after church and we were a party of 45 so we had our own nice room. All our guests enjoyed themselves and we all had a great time. It is very easy to have large groups of people when it is a buffet and the selection suited everyone.
I was with a group of people having dinner on the weekend, and I can say this place is by far one of the best buffet restaurants I have ever had dinner at. The selection was amazing, the food quality was great and the atmosphere was spectacular. The manager even came by every now and then to make sure everyone was happy. The music was hot, and they even had a belly dancer dancing around the restaurant! I look forward to returning again.
