We had John Thompson movers move us from Grey County to a retirement residence east of Peterborough recently. The truck, along with two workers, showed up even before the expected time and had our belongings loaded in less than two hours. Every item was carefully wrapped and loaded. During the entire time Riley and Keegan were polite and attentive to our concerns. Our experience at the other end was the same. I would recommend John Thompson Movers to anyone without hesitation.
Moved on October 2nd 2019 to a new apartment and cannot say enough about the three guys who carried everything we had down 39 stairs and steps to our new abode. They were happy, friendly and helpful and answered any of our questions of concern. Never stopped working and cleaned up after themselves. They honestly were amazing and I hope it is not too late for you to let them know how much we appreciated their help and I wish I could remember their names.
The boys moved me from Holland Centre to Cobourg. Excellent care on loading and unloading. Polite, very efficient and I did not worry about a thing while they worked. I already have made recommendations to many people about John Thompson Movers...thank you again. Nellie
We moved from Sauble Beach to Port Elgin, we were very satisfied with the job done by Sean, Keegan, Cam, and Brent. We would highley reccomend Thompson movers.
DO NOT STORE ANYTHING with JTM. We were told their outdoor units were water tight with proper ventilation. They are not. Our stuff was stored for a year and came out literally covered in green and black mould. The unit was so full of standing water that a solid wood table crumpled when lifted. Boxes totally wet, art with water stains four inches up the sides. I threw out 90 percent. Not the first time they had this problem as owner read me a script from their lawyer when I called to complain.
