My name is Claudia Aukema, I am a loving mother and the owner of Count Your Little Blessings Childcare. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator who graduated from Mohawk College in 2000. My ECE career began in that year and has not stopped since, but truly I have always had a passion for working with children, even from a young age. As a pre-teen and a teenager I was involved with Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and inner city kids clubs. The joy that I see on these little ones faces is priceless. I believe in treating each child as an individual and letting them grow at their own pace. Along with various workshops and seminars, my qualifications also include a valid CPR and First aid certificate, a police clearance check and a Certified Food Handler certificate. My background as a RECE includes 7+ years as an in class teacher in a childcare centre, 4 years as a Supervisor of a large childcare centre of 96 children and a home daycare provider since 2011.
