Maryam Asmat launched Talwain, interior decoration was a passion and hobby. Later, the company idea was proposed at various competitions. Maryam proposed the idea of an interior decoration company with a unique target market at DECA, MIST, and for various class assignments. In DECA, her proposal and presentation of Talwain received 4th place in all of Ontario and she was the only student in her school to qualify for and compete at DECA Internationals in Salt Lake City, Utah.
