We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it.
I had an overall fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The wine list was excellent, and there was something for everyone on the menu. The complimentary pizzaiola was a very nice surprise. Portion size was very good, we were left satisfied A great place for any occasion.
The place is in desperate need of a renovation. The decor looks like its from the 1980's. The food was okay, but I was honestly expecting way better considering how expensive it is. The servers were nice, I'll give them that.
