The Cree Nation of Nemaska, which means 'plenty of fish', is situated on the shores of beautiful Champion Lake in northern Quebec. Nemaska has been called the heart of the Cree Nation, reflective of both the warmth of our people and our location in the centre of our traditional Cree territory – Eeyou Istchee. We are also the home of the Grand Council of the Crees and the Cree Regional Authority.
