I also know that courtrooms are notorious for making people’s family law problems worse. Court battles often leave already vulnerable relationships suffering with irreversible damage.
I have seen firsthand that without professional support and guidance, separating and divorcing people more often than not find themselves unnecessarily consumed financially, socially, emotionally and physically by their separation. With credible, insightful, and honest information early in the early stages of separation or divorce, people can and will make informed and healthier choices about how they want their separation story to sound. My ex partner and I attended mediation with Lana as our mediator.
At first I liked her and found her fairly knowledgeable.
As time went on though, I found her to be long winded and self promoting. She is rediculously expensive at 500.00 each party per session. She is VERY pro shared custody to the point of manipulating boundaries to force shared custody.
In fact I feel she did not respect my boundaries nor my feelings regarding my rights to parent my children with my ex in a safe manner.
