Getting here and parking information

Bus stop
IKEA Halifax can now be reached by the #72 bus that drops and picks-up at the lights on Cutler Avenue, adjacent to the store

EV Chargers
IKEA Halifax has four EV chargers located near the entrance. Sign up for easy access. Please note that as of February 3, 2025, there will be 2 hours of free EV charging, with a $5.00/hour fee beginning in the third hour of use, for all customers.

Hybrid parking
IKEA Halifax has designated hybrid parking spaces located near the entrance.

CarShare
There are two designated parking spots located between the entrance and exit for Carshare preferred parking.

Bike racks
Covered bike racks, located near the store entrance. IKEA Halifax also has an emergency bike kit (Chain lube, levers, patches, pump, and multi-tool) available upon request.

Hej Newfoundland!

We now offer you the flexibility to collect your small parcels (up to 25 kgs, limitations apply) at a FedEx retail location for a flat rate of $19.99. Or, have your orders of any size, shipped to our St. John's Pick-up location starting at $79, or delivered to your home starting at $199. 

During check-out, choose your preferred Pick-up location or delivery method, and we'll notify you when it's ready for pick-up.

Click and collect

You can shop for it in-store – but you don’t have to

Click and collect service is available at your local IKEA store or select pick-up locations.

Here’s how you do it:

Step 1: Choose ‘Click and collect’ at checkout and you will be able to select an IKEA Store or a nearby Pick-up location, operated by a third-party partner.

Step 2: Wait until you receive the “Ready for pickup” email before heading to the store.

Step 3: Follow the instructions in the email and proceed to your selected store or Pick-up location. While collection will be contactless, pick-up processes may vary from location to location. Further direction will be communicated upon arrival.

Click and collect pick-up instructions: 

Step 1: Proceed to the designated Click and collect parking spots in the loading zone located at the store exit. (If there are no designated spots available, you can also park in any loading zone space and collect your order from the Click and collect designated doors to the left of the customer exit.)

Step 2: Once parked in a designated Click and collect parking spot, click the Check-in button in the “Your order is ready” email.

Step 3: Select your preference - pick-up in Click and collect entrance OR enter your Click and collect parking space number for vehicle delivery.
