They started us off with warm dinner rolls - good, but nothing special. All entrees come with all you can eat fries, and they are delicious. Crunchy but not too deep-fried. Our meals also came with perfectly steamed green beans. Three out of four steaks were perfect - one rare, two medium rare. My rare steak was one of the better I've had - it was red through the middle but it was still hot when it got to the table! The fourth steak (medium) was a bit tough. Read more

The food is amazing. Portions are considered large comparing to the average Montreal French bistro. Good place for a date. Also good atmosphere for a small 5a7 (there is a large long table for 10-12pp at the back near the bar). The only negative is that the service is average. The waitress is not that attentive or customer-centric. For example, she would list the daily special without mentioning the prices, unless prompted. Live jazz, great wine, wonderful meal... Need I say more? We got a table upstairs, next to the band. Usually, you'd want to keep a distance, but this was wonderful. The singer was great. The wine selection was varied. The meal was very well done. The lamb was as good as they promised (which is not always the case at all restaurants) Our server was lovely and very accommodating. They did charge us an extra $8 for splitting the lamb-chops between the kids. If I am paying $220 for my meal, I don't expect that. Still, it did not affect the beautiful evening we had. Read more
