I was visiting from the states and dropped off my dress clothes for a wedding the coming weekend. It was my first time visiting Brampton and I was still getting used to how everything worked in Canada. When I picked up my cleaning I thought I could just pay with my US Debit (charged as credit in CAN). Turns out I couldn’t because they accept cash or Canadian debit only. I profusely apologized and explained I couldn’t use my bank because it was in the states. He let me have it and said it’s okay.
