Karl Row - a family legacy
A long term approach to saving the family farm and providing employment for his family .
Karl Row and his second wife, Lynn Row, co-created with there children Bryan and Karla this golf course.
Paul Row a professional millwright and the son of Sharon Karl's first wife also assisted in this vision of how to maintain the family farm and this golfing legacy .
Janet Row ,Karl and Sharon's oldest child, was the co-creator of this dream that started as a desire for mini golf.
Karl and Janet, his oldest daughter ,yearly drove to near Putnam Rd where a local man had a private mini golf. Each Christmas Karl and Janet would go to see the lights at this man's yard.
Later in 1990, after his neighbor passed away and Karl was looking to redesign his own career path. Janet and Karl spoke with his accountant and invested Ken Jones Signs in St. Thomas and other properties in St Thomas Ontario on Confederation Ave St. Thomas, Ontario.
Today, Janet's father dream is a reality .

We love golfing at Stonehaven. The prices are very reasonable, the course well-kept and they even have a drinks cart. I just started golfing again a couple of years ago and I wanted a course that wasn't too busy. This is the place - I've never felt as if I were holding someone up and have rarely been held up myself. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The course is surrounded by farmland so is quite serene. The holes can look deceptively short and easy but each one has its own little quirk so it's harder than it looks. Some of the scenery is simply stunning. It's one of my favourite courses ever.Read more
