There is no other place to go for a 1st class meal in Durham and we recently celebrated my fathers 90th in their party room. I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Read more

Then came the menus that were filled with very fair priced items for dinner for all of us. When dinner came out I was absolutely positively impressed. Attention all foodies! This restaurant is a MUST TRY!! We ordered the tasting menu (don't forget to give 24 hrs notice), it was absolutely incredible. Pricey but worth it! The portion sizes were huge, we could barely make it out the door. The wait staff is incredible, we were asked upon arrival what our preferred pace for eating was, quick or nice and easy....who does that? Most restaurants want you in and OUT! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, incredible food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail! Barrie has about 7 good restaurants....this one's near the top!! Read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Barrie. We've been here many times for many special occasions. We always enjoy the food and experience every time we go. Today we tried his brunch menu and it was really good as well. We had the Eggs Benny and Breakfast Poutine, along with a side of the homemade onion and apple sausages. Delicious. Now if all brunch tasted like that I'd eat brunch a lot more often. Read more
