Arrived late, cook had left but as we just left without food, the owner and his wife invited us back in and his chef wife made wonderful chicken Alfredo and done in seemingly minutes. The service was worth the trip alone and the delicious portions filled this 270 pound (123kg) hearty eater. The waiter, Ray, extremely nice and the owner introduced wife after we finished. I recently read about Panino Cappuccino in the Toronto Sun. There was an article talking about this "hidden gem". I would have never expected such a cute Italian restaurant to have been in the small Weston rd. plaza I pass by every day. Well kudos to the author because they were totally right! I decided to give it a try! I took my girlfirend one Friday night & the place was packed! We were however greeted right away and scored a corner booth! We shared the Italian Springs Rolls (UNREAL!) to start. I had the penne alla vodka and my friend had the seabass which was the special for the night. The food was exceptionally good and definately impressed my friend and I. The servers were also great & the atmosphere was very cozy. On our way out we even had the opportunity to meet one of the brothers/owners 'Fabio' who was also very nice. Can't wait to go back for more yummy spring rolls! Read more
