I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. Was told it was more spicy than the wet rib, loved the heat. Had it with a nice Malbec Coleslaw - best I have ever had. The sauce was creamy but light and didn't overwhelm the veg. Definitely the best bar / restaurant in the area. Great Patio in the back and very cozy atmosphere inside. This is a designated heritage building and there are old pictures of the area on the walls which is a nice touch. The food is great and it's a mix of Italian, Mexican, American. What I like most is the open kitchen. The food is prepped in the open! It's a refreshing change from almost all other restaurants that prep food behind closed doors (makes you wonder what's really crawling in the kitchen). The Bar has good selection on tap and there is a comfortable lounging area in the back by the fireplace as well.
