While Osteria is not designed to be particularly "child friendly," the staff went out of their way to keep our hungry toddler happy during a wait that took longer than anticipated (these things happen when you wander in on a Friday night without reservations). The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. If I lived in the neighborhood this is definitely a place where I could become a regular. And in the end, the food was well worth the wait. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh.
I was part of a group of 10, so we had a long table in a room adjacent to the main dining area. We started with bruschetta for the table, and it was one of the best I've had. I had the filet mignon in red wine sauce as my main. i had the cesar salad to start which was great.. It had been a couple years since my last visit, but the salad was just as amazing as always. Service was great as well.
I dined here on Saturday night on their patio and we have a lovely time.. the server was courteous. the food was quite outstanding.. and the wine recommend was not expensive and just right.. the night was all around very impressive.
Has to be by far one of the best places in the City for Italian food. Service exceptional and the wine list extensive. There's a reason why they've been in business for decades..
loved it.. i love Italian food so when i heard that we were having dinner here, i was excited.. the food was very good and the waiter was kind and attentive.

The food was incredible here. My husband and I went for the first time after hearing about it from friends. We were extremely pleased with the quality of food and the knowledge the server had about wine pairings. Can't wait to go again!
ODM's is upscale italian, probably one of Calgary's Top 3 Italian restaurants. The head chef (an older woman) shows a passion for cooking and it shows. Food and service was excellent. Went on Valentine's day with a limited menu. Parking is a pain, and you'll have to make reservations.
