A day at Body Concepts Tanning Salon is an experience to enjoy. The salon has been a staple of the Spruce Grove tanning community since the 1970s. Sandi Roewekaemper took over in 2013 and works hard to maintain the salon's tradition of top-notch service while giving it her own personal flare.
She works alongside her daughter, who is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to tanning and skin care. Sandi's family has been involved in the business and community from the beginning. "This is a family environment," she explains. "My daughter works here, my grandson has been coming since he was a baby — so if people have kids, they can bring them and I'll even watch them while they tan. I have a TV for the little ones. I have coffee if people want coffee. It's just a friendly environment."
