Did the Grouse Grind last year with my dad and i thought i was going to have to turn back around at one point but kept going and it was ao amazing - i recommend it for anyone!!!! so fun
No active Vancouverite would entertain out-of-town guests who love the outdoors without a hike up The Grind or a day of skiing on one of our great local mountains. In summer, challenge your guests with the intense climb up to the top. In winter, ride the gondola and then hit the slopes. Or if that’s too much, go ice skating on the mountaintop pond high above the city – it’s complimentary with the cost of your gondola ticket.
Sometimes the best way to see a city is to go up, way up! Intrepid sightseers can head to the top of Grouse Mountain for unbeatable views of the Vancouver skyline and surrounding North Shore Mountains. The mountaintop attraction has plenty of activities for all ages, ranging from educational nature walks and wildlife demonstrations to paragliding and zip-line adventures for thrill seekers. For the ultimate airborne experience, book a private helicopter tour to get a birds-eye view of the landscape. Scenic flights soar over the Capilano Valley to reveal breathtaking views of the coastline and mountain ranges below.
Experience a mountaintop white Christmas on the top of Grouse Mountain during the annual Peak of Christmas festivities. You’ll not only be able to visit Santa in his Christmas Village, but you can also go ice skating, check out the real live reindeer, take a magical sleigh ride through the forest, and check out the new Light Walk experience around Blue Grouse Lake. Make sure you check in with Santa’s Village as soon as you arrive, so you can book your time for a photo!
