My sister & brother-in-law took me there tonight for birthday dinner.Excellant service.Server had sense of humour, checked often to see if we needed drinks etc. Each of our meals was fantastic.Steak was cooked to order>everyones was correct. The baked potato was sooooo good.Warm bread. Also, roasted peppers were great.Loads of flavour. At the end of the meal I was surprised with a huge piece of Birthday cake with candle that was absolutely to die for.Compliments of the Keg!Will definitely return and refer friends there.
They used to have the BEST chicken fingers on the bar menu, but they're gone now. Hate the prime rib burger! We used to like getting takeout, but then they stopped taking orders over the phone. I guess they want you to have a drink or two while you wait at the bar. Whatever, there are other places in town.
Went here for valentines , our first time at the keg. The wait was long for dinning room so we sat at a table in the lounge to wait and ended up eating there. Meal was good , steak was really good but very skimpy on the vegies for sure.Probably 1/2 cup of cauliflower broccoli carrot mix and 1/4 c of mushrooms. Ceasar salad was good enough. If we hadn't of ordered french onion soup first, we would of walked away still hungry. Price is Normal as can be expected from a steak house.
Cocktails are pricey.
I LOVE the Keg! My husband and I go every year for our anniversary and our birthdays as well as other special occasions. In fact, we are going for Valentines Day!
SERVICE: Amazing! Our drinks were always replenished as well as the warm buttery bread! Our orders were taken in a timely fashion, Wine was suggested to us and our waitress was amazing!
FOOD: The best place for steak! Everything is fresh and the vegetables were grilled to perfection. Cesar Salad is to die for!
ATMOSPHERE: We always ask for the comfy, fireside table in the corner of the bar. Very quiet and romantic...
PRICE: A little costly but the entire experience and food were well worth every bite!
I took my family to the Keg for supper and we were seated promptly. The waiter however was not very classy. He said, "Hey guys, what would you like to order?". When I pay $30 a person for a meal, I don't want to be addressed as "Hey guys". The food was good although my father's steak was overcooked a bit. You had to wait a while for the food. Atmosphere was typical steakhouse and the decor was classy. I would try it again but hope for a better server.
