I can't believe anyone would critize this...
I can't believe anyone would critize this restaurant. I've eaten sushi at a great number of "japanese" restaurants in Canada and the US and this has to be one of the best. The spicy tuna, salmon and shrimp are the best "spicy" rolls I have ever had, bar none. It is a nice friendly family run business whose owners speak english contrary to some of the racist comments here. They are not a FAST food restaurant, but have great food FAST. If you have a bad experience here, you've only yourselves to blame. Also, the miso soup is traditonal and green tea is made with, you guessed it, water. Neither are "watery".

I was introduced to this restaurant in the summer...
I was introduced to this restaurant in the summer and can't stop going !!! Always very fresh - so good. I have brought the 40 piece party platter to many friends - they always love it and want to know directions to go themselves. Highly recommend Bento Box - but call ahead for a quicker order ! Eat it right away - it will still be warm and yummy!

Finally a sushi joint in Burlington that does not mass produce its sushi! Wish I had discovered this place years earlier. Fish was fresh; presentation simple but attractive. Great!

You can't beat the price, but the quality of the...
You can't beat the price, but the quality of the food you're getting reflects what you pay for. I agree with past reviewers, there is no taste to the soup and we didn't eat it. The salad was not fresh but the dressing was well made even though there was too much on the salad and it made it very watery. The cucumber rolls were so small you could barely taste the cucumber. The meat was tender and well cooked but the portions were so tiny that all you were eating was rice. It was doused with the sauce which made it hard to taste anything but overwhelmingly sweet teriyaki sauce. It was not busy but the service was terrible. Family run or not, they need more employees.
