A family that stays together eats together. It might be a variation of the original saying, but it fits appropriately when you meet Dilraj Aryal and his younger brother Yuvraj Aryal. They are the proud owners of the Indian restaurant Bombay Grill, which has several branches in the Greater Toronto Area, including Burlington, Ajax, Hamilton, Milton and Markham.
The brothers worked as chefs in several Indian restaurants in Calgary and Toronto before starting their first restaurant in Burlington. “Therefore, it was a no-brainer and in 2002, we made the obvious but risky decision to open our first restaurant,” says Dilraj.
Dilraj says it was their dream to run their own establishment and they thought it was important to give it at least one good shot. “Failure was never an option, but it was still at the back of our minds even though we had all the necessary skills to be successful,” he says.
The brothers are originally from Delhi, India, but they opted to use Bombay in their restaurant’s name. “The city, Bombay, was more known to Canadians than Delhi, so it preceded over the latter,” says Dilraj. “And since we were excellent at making grilled food, we named our restaurant Bombay Grill.”

The food is always amazing, hot and quick. The staff are amiable and helpful. Take-out is fantastic too. Great vegetarian options and conveniently located in the middle of Burlington. This is the best local Indian food! I recommend it to everyone.
No joke, this is the best Indian Food in the Hamilton/Burlington area. I have probably tried every Indian restauraunt within 25 KM, and none compare to the Grill (formerly the 'Chat'). R and his staff are awesome - some times I end up here three or more days a week. I have been coming here for years, and have had nearly everything on the menu - this is my favorite restauraunt period - you will not regret your visit, unless you really aren't into ethnic food.
Gotta be honest, the food was very good under a great, great place! I would definedly go back again!
