Food was good and so was the service. But, the website shows Jack Astor's Wellington Road, London, ON location being open at 11 AM Sundays and yet, it did not open until 12. I did not appreciate having to wait when I thought I could go in at 11:30.

We like to go to Jack Astors often. The only comment I have for them is to bring back the Manchurian Vegetable Pasta and get rid of the whole wheat spaghetti - it sucks!!!! They change their menu, which is great, except they seem to remove the best items and add ones that are terrible. We still go back despite the whole wheat pasta because they have been willing to make it the old way for me. Other than the menu, great place to eat, great food, pretty good service.

We went for my brother's birthday and it was really good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and although nobody had any leftovers to take home, everyone seemed full. We always get their roasted garlic bruschetta as an appetizer and as always, it was great. Very traditional style so if you think bruschetta is just tomatoes on garlic bread you might not like it. For my entree, I had their (new) grilled salmon provencal, which was surprisingly good. The tomato garlic sauce on the salmon was amazing and really made the fish moist. The pasta was delicious, although I felt that the tomato sauce for it was a little light and would have liked a bit more. Our server was pretty good, although he took a long time to bring me a refill on my water and so I had to gulp it down just as we were leaving. Overall, Jack Astor's is a generally reliable chain and this location in particular seems to do a very good job in picking good chefs and servers. Definitely a good place to go if you're not looking for anything too different.
