We stopped at Bien Pho on our way home last evening, thinking that like many other Pho restaurants we've visited for take out, it would be a short 10 minute wait. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for our food. When I asked how much longer it would be I was told "we can't estimate - it should only be another 5 minutes". Let it be noted there were only 2 couples already eating in the restaurant, and 1 take out order ahead of us. We each ordered a vermacelli meal and shared a order of rice paper rolls with Chicken (2 rolls). After finally getting our food and taking it home I bit into the rice paper roll to find a nice long hair fully rolled into the rice and lettuce. Needless to say we will never be visiting this establishment again.

Feels good

I love this restaurant, everytime I eat there I leave feeling healthy and not bogged down by heavy ingredients. Not a "fancy" restaurant but definitely a favorite and my kids love it too, which is pretty impressive for a meal without chicken nuggets and fries! A great change from the typical family quick meal but at the same price.

This should be called "Mauvaise Pho".

It was a disaster. We were in the area and had a coupon so we thought we would try it. First indication of the lack of authenticity is that the owners are Lebanese not even Asian. They were arguing when we got there and to top it off didn't come to us with a menu for 10 minutes. The food was disappointing to say the least. The chicken was not even grilled, it was greasy Shawarma ... I would bet money on it. NEVER AGAIN! Go at your own risk or if you have a less than distinguishing palette. The good choice is to go another vietnamese restaurent in St Joseph if you want Pho

What are you talking about?

I am a regular customer. I often go by myself or with a date and I have also often recommended many people to enjoy this little gem in orleans. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but I don't understand how the same place can be so delicious to so many and terrible to a little few. There is more than one Vietnamese restaurant in Orleans and I know many people who prefer to go to Bien Pho than the other. Do yourself a favor and go try it. And keep your coupon. The food is awesome and extremely reasonably priced.

Good stuff

Good quality food and tasty. A little light on the meat ingredients but a lot of food overall. Zero ambiance for eat-in but it is not expected. Have not tried the Pho.
