Samir Baliki, co-owner and manager since 1996, personally brings over 50 years experience repairing fine antiques; refinishing and custom-building furniture; and delivering special projects to new and repeat clients, including heads of state, throughout the Ottawa area.

Through word of mouth and a solid reputation spanning the nation, Griffin’s Head has grown from an insurance repair outlet to a full-service restoration and refinishing business catering to the private and public sector.     Mr. Baliki is an outstanding professional. Since he was recommended to me by a prominent Ottawa antique dealer and over more than twenty years, I have had many pieces of furniture of different types repaired or restored by him (lacquer, fresco paint on Italian table, water-damaged library desk, replicating missing pieces, rebuilding dismantled antique table shipped from Europe, etc.): all came back like new. His know-how is second to none. And a most charming man to boot!
