I encountered a problem with oil leaking from my engine. I contacted the dealership right away for a quote and a timeline to fix the car as I didn't think it was a good idea to wait any longer. The quote from the dealership was out of my budget and the soonest I was able to get in was at least a week. I started to panic as I have heard horror stories about mechanics. A good friend of mine recommended Lee's Autoworks in Oshawa. I was hesitant as it was quite a far drive from my home. I called them and the mechanic/owner was very professional and knowledgeable. I know very little about automobiles and he explained everything to me on the phone. He gained my trust so I decided to bring the car in. It was also a bonus that he was able to adjust his schedule to fit me in due to the urgency of the issue. The mechanic was very friendly and I was VERY satisfied with the service I received. The cost was also within my budget. It was well worth the drive and I would not hesitate to make the drive for any services to my vehicle from now on. I'm glad my friend gave me his recommendation and this is one mechanic I would be comfortable recommending to others. Thank you!
Not only is Eric a technically-able mechanic from my 10 years plus of dealing with him (close to a hundred encounter with Eric for services that ranges from oil change, tire services, brake services, suspension work, alternator, engine failure, transmission problems, etc...) at this current location as well as his other previous locations (he services my 2 cars, my friends' cars, my family's cars, my neighbors cars for a total of 25 cars), he is friendly and patient with my questions. Highly recommended!
I live in Markham, yet I'm willing to drive 30 mins to visit Lee's Autoworks. The only reason is because I trust them with my cars. Anything from a Subaru Legacy to an Audi A3/Q7 and now I even bring my baby Lotus to them. I know they will give me a great price and never tell me to fix stuff I don't need to. I enjoy how they are willing to explain everything that needs to be done. Comfortable and clean waiting area.
Thank you so much for all that you guys did for me. When I came in for my brake job, I had no ideal that I had been risking the life of not only myself, but of my son also. Honesty and professionalism are traits rarely seen in this industry. After almost getting scammed by my local dealer on repairs to my suspension, I drove out to Lee's Autoworks to have my car looked at and fixed. They did it in a timely manner and at a great price no other dealer could match. It was definately worth the drive out to Oshawa.
