Waiting a long time though it was busy. When food arrived, i had one bite o spinach salad, which is lovely described in the menu. Barely any dressing, a whole layer of bean sprouts under the spinach and a ball of caked together cranberiies (no wonderful poppyseed dressing)
I took one bite, just spinach, and it tasted, and that is no joke, like bug spray. My daugthher (24) spit it out when she tried it, and she does have table manners.
I returned it, and could not order anything else.
I wonder if the salad returns in tomorrows quiche!!!!!!
The food was mediocre, and it was the highlight. It tasted like it was pre-packaged, pre-made Roadhouse Kit A from Bland-Eats-R-Us.
The service was just the saddest thing. The waitress couldn't seem to keep anything straight. Service was so slow, and it didn't even seem busy. It must have been though because when one of my friends asked for a refill on her coffee the waitress told her,"I don't have time for that." We were just shocked! Also one of my friends got hit in the face with the bill. Way to pay attention to your customers!
Crazy bad restaurant.
We have gone to Bentley's for years. It has gone steadily downhill. The service is terrible as they turnover staff at an incredible rate and you often have inexperience staff. The food not even passable anymore. Ceaser salads obviously mixed well before they are served to the customer. Overcooked dry burgers. The pita was so stale it fell apart as I tried to eat it. Small portions and pints you have to send back as they are 1/2 foam. If I'm paying for a premiun pint I would like to recieve an actual pint of beer. That's it. Never again.
My boyfriend and I thought we'd go in for a bite...
My boyfriend and I thought we'd go in for a bite to eat and a beer and even though the place was nowhere near full or busy we sat ourselves and waited, and waited and waited for a server. In the 15 minutes that we sat 4-5 servers passed by us, and looked at us but did not acknowledge us one bit. Even worse half of them were sitting at the bar talking. Needless to say we left and went to another pub.
