We found a brown hair cooked and hanging out of the omellete (in the egg itself), left it in for the owner to see. She responded it was ours no one in the kitchen has that colour hair. That was it.
Paid for our meal and on the way out, we saw 2 kitchen staff with the same colour hair with no hairnets.
Hmmm...I guess as customers we were wrong?
Just trying to figure how we could have got it in the cooked egg?
We don't complain about the food, anywhere, we just don't come back. When it is great food, we will comment and keep returning. Not here!
After living in both Toronto and Montreal, and frequenting many breakfast diners over the years, Cedar Kitchen in still in my top-3 of all-time!
It's decorating scheme reminds you of a kitchen from your childhood (a little stale) but the food and service more than make up for the lack of aesthetics.
Delicious food, huge portions, friendly service, and great coffee. It's rare to be at a restaurant and have to repeatedly say to a waitress "No thanks, I've had enough coffee."
A+

Great food, excellent service/prices but most of all damn good coffee. And the girls are fantastic and speedy too. Highly recommend this restaurant, they are hard to beat.
Great place to eat. Great food, atmosphere and value.
This place equals "small town, great eats!"
I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a casual meal.
