We've had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant on several occassions. Each time the food did not disappoint. My personal favorite is the veal! It was so tender and delicious! The portions are very generous. We've also been in their party room for people who want to host private affairs, such as birthdays and confirmations etc. The service was friendly and attentive and we now count this as one of our favortie places to go!

This was one of the best dinnig experiences I've had in Durham. Warm feeling as you are invited in, staff very friendly & helpful. Food was amazing from our appetizers to mains to dessert, huge portions(had enough for lunch the next day). The flavours of the food definitely have a European influence. Bella Notte compares to some the top restaurants in the city. Our entire group was more than satisfied & can't wait to go back. Keep up the great work!
Quite nice atmosphere but very poor (slow) service. Appetizer was good but entree was VERY bland. Ate 3 or 4 bites of it and pushed plate off to the side. Server asked if I wanted it wrapped up. Told her it was a very poor dish. Still charged for it.! Very disappointed in this restaurant. Have been to all decent local restaurants and this is by far the lowest ranking.
Bella Notte is my new favorite restaurant! The food was fabulous and the portion was huge! The atmosphere is really nice - I felt like I was dining downtown! The staff was very friendly and my server was excellent! I can't wait to go back!
To sum it up in two words....Never Again!!
We visited Bella Notte for the first time the other day. I was disgusted with the service that we received. Our male server was arrogant and almost displeased to have us as one of his tables. It started when we didn't order wine. The service went from bad to worse. After waiting an hour for drinks he told us not to expect our meals for another hour and a half. When we asked why, he ended up arguing with us and the manager had to take over as our server. I'm not sure why we didn't leave.
