The Émond family has always been deeply connected to nature and own an island cottage on a large lake in the Outaouais region. Their father built the family sauna there by bringing the wood over on a pontoon. It was on this island that Stéphanie Émond's fate gently began to take root. Years later, after living abroad, she returned to Quebec and some friends brought her to a site that occupied an old outdoor recreation area at Lake Gale, near Bromont in the Eastern Townships, south of Montreal. "And that was love at first sight for the place!" she recalls.
Stéphanie had her project: to create a single place where she could democratize the spa culture. With the unconditional support of her father, who believed in his daughter's dream, Stéphanie developed a bold business plan.
