Roder's works speak for themselves. Her images are not drawn from a superficial point of view to cater to quick thirst quenching to decorate walls with. Nor does she merely follow academic road signs to fit herself into representation that bespeak prejudices that have indeed not taken us to a better understanding of ourselves and our world. She is politically , socially aware of norms and important trends and loopholes in East and West.
