There are a few times in life when a meal is so expertly crafted and planned that it is nothing short of genius. Last night, I had one of those meals at Winghouse Cobourg!!! This pub is around the corner from our house and we just love it there. The ladies are all very friendly. the menu has variety so it doesnt matter what you feel like having they have something to satisfy you. Their sandwiches are AMAZING! They use meat from the butcher next door which adds that little extra for an awesome sandwich or burger. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, we even take our baby there because anyone is welcome!

st veronus still has wonderful tasty food. I especially love the stoemp. BUT they no longer have a lunch menu- which means having lunch here is now much more expensive than it used to be (ie. the stew used to be $11 for lunch, now its $18 off the generic menu). because of this- I likely will only come here for dinner now as Peterborough has lots of other reasonably priced lunch options.

We went to the Black Horse for a secretaries' party last Christmas. It was a very loud atmosphere, so we wouldn't go back for a group gathering for that reason, however the food and service was very good. Everyone was very happy with their meals, and we had fast & friendly service.
