Have been to both locations (Ellesmere location & Steeles location, which just recently opened by the Scarborough NE Wal-mart Super Centre on Steeles between Middlefield & Markham Rds.) Excellent Food, Great Portions, Friendly Staff, Extremely Reasonable Prices. I definitely recommend this restaurant (both locations) for anyone looking for any of the above lines.

Dining in China Cottage brought back golden memories of mumbai. The quality of food was very good as well as it's price. Felt I was back in mumbai. The place is well kept. The servers are all friendly and polite. The place has it's warmth called "the desi warmth." I would definately re-visit the place soon :-)

I love China Cottage. The food is wonderful and the service is great. When I worked in Scarborough, a group of us from the department would go to China Cottage every Wednesday for lunch. The group started out as 3 people, as the department grew so did the group for Wednesday lunch at China Cottage (up to 9 at times). I am now retired, however I try to get to China Cottage as often as I can. I Love the Food & I Love the Waiters.
