I took my girlfriend to La Grotta for our anniversary on my parents' recommendation (suppress the scoffing). It was a wonderful meal and a wonderful time. Both of our meals were great: we swapped plates part way through just for a taste but she wanted the rest of my lamb! The tiramisu was out of this world so I would encourage you to leave room for dessert. The server was efficient and helpful and helped make this night one not to forget.
I've been to La Grotta several times and each time I'm more impressed than the last time. Recently we were there for an office event and they took great care of us. Frank and the staff at La Grotta are extremely accommodating and courteous. Our food was fantastic (we enjoyed the 3 course prix fixe menu) and the service was impeccable. I've already booked our next team event! I would highly recommend La Grotta for your next great dining experience.
My husband and I just moved to Unionville, and a neighbour advised to try La Grotta. I was extremley suprised! The service was fantastic! The server was extremley friendly and personable. The atmosphere was clean! The food was absolutley devine! I would recommend anyone and everyone to go! I will be back shortly, and I can't wait!!!!!!
I felt the need to sign up as a member here after coming across the reviews of La Grotta, as I have lived in Unionville for 20 years. My wife and I walk to Main Street for dinner al least once a week, and and used to enjoy La Grotta, but stopped going, as we found the food and service deteriorated some years ago. It's the one place on Main Street my wife refuses to visit, although I have often suggested we give it another chance. The fact that just 3 people have posted a total of about 25 glowing reviews here for this restaurant is disgusting. I will be more careful now when using such review sites, as clearly all is not what it seems .... Frank
Short and concise... We 've been there many times as a family for different ocassions. It has always been great, amazing service, good food and we feel just like home. We know La Grotta can accomadate us and provide that atmosphere. Thank you all
